India Gate, New Delhi

Day 01 : Arrive in Delhi
Arrive in Delhi where you will be met at the airport by our representative, who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel. Day at leisure to acclimatise to India and relax, overnight in Delhi.

Day 02 : Delhi
Today you can take a sightseeing tour of New and Old Delhi. There is much to see in India's capital city including India Gate, Parliament House, President House, Lotus Temple, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid and Red Fort before an evening at leisure and overnight in Delhi.

Day 03 : Delhi - Agra
Drive to Agra and take a tour of the Fort. There are many artisans working around Agra some of whom create beautiful marble inlay work in the style used to create the Taj Mahal. You will have the option to see these craftsmen at work if you wish. Evening free to relax and overnight in Agra.

Day 04 : Agra - Bharatpur
The best time of day to view the Taj Mahal is at dawn and immediately after. The rising sun creates an ever shifting array of colours across the marble faces of this magnificent edifice and this sight will live with you for many years. After breakfast, drive towards Bharatpur, enroute stopping at Fatehpur Sikri. This majestic sandstone city was briefly the capital of the Mughal Empire in the 16th Century and is wonderfully preserved. Bharatpur is very near to the famed Keoladeo Ghana National Park, which has the largest concentration and variety of bird life in all of Asia. Take an evening Rickshaw ride to the Park for twilight bird-watching. Overnight in Bharatpur.

Amber Fort, Jaipur

Day 05 : Bharatpur - Jaipur
For serious bird enthusiasts, a second visit to the National Park will be a must as dawn is an excellent time to view the many colonies coming to life to greet the new day. After breakfast, drive to Jaipur. The Pink City as it is known is the modern day capital of Rajasthan and home to an astounding array of markets and bazaars. These are easily explored from your hotel. You have the option for an evening visit to Chokhi Dhani for Dinner, an ethnic village resort located at a distance 15 km from Jaipur. Evenings at Chokhi Dhani are very special. A Rajasthani village atmosphere is recreated on the sprawling ground and includes the entertainment by folk dancers and musicians. You can move around freely and enjoy the evening. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 06 : Jaipur
There is plenty to take in on a full days sightseeing around the city. You will visit the Amber Fort, ascending the ramparts on elephant back and taking a guided tour before returning a short distance to Jaipur to see the City Palace, Birla Temple, Jantar Mantar Observatory and the Palace of Winds. The evening is free and overnight in Jaipur.

Day 07 : Jaipur - Delhi - Goa
You will need to make an early start this morning to catch your 6.40 flight to Delhi. This is a small sacrifice as this enables you to make a connecting flight in Delhi and be in Goa by early afternoon! Our representative will be at Delhis domestic airport to assist you with the transfer. Overnight in Goa.

Days 08, 09, 10 : Goa
Indias smallest state, Goa was as stronghold of the Portuguese who held onto power here until after independence. Now known primarily as a place of glorious beaches and warm clear waters, you are free to explore the area or do just about nothing if you wish! 3 more Nights in Goa.

Day 11 : Goa - Cochin
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Cochin, in the paradisiacal state of Kerala. This is a direct flight only on Tuesday and Saturday. On other days you will need to transfer via Mumbai. In either case you will be met/ or assisted with the transfer. The remainder of the day you are at leisure, followed by an opportunity to see a performance of traditional Keralan Kathakali dance in the comfort of an air-conditioned auditorium. Overnight in Cochin.

Day 12 : Cochin
The historic port city of Cochin is a unique blend of religious and cultural influences. Here you will have the whole day to take a tour of the Jewish Synagogue, St Francis church, the Chinese fishing nets on the harbour and more besides. Overnight in Cochin.

Day 13 : Cochin - Munnar
Drive to Munnar, a place of breath-taking beauty and a haven of peace and tranquility, with a vast expanse of tea plantations, pristine valleys and mountains, exotic species of flora and fauna in its wild sanctuaries and forests, and the aroma of spice scented cool air. Overnight in Munnar.

Day 14 : Munnar
Day at leisure with excursions available if you wish. Overnight in Munnar.

Day 15 : Munnar - Periyar
Drive to Periyar (Thekkady), home to one of the largest wildlife reserves in India, alive with exotic flora and wildlife. Late afternoon is the perfect time to take a boat ride on the lake and have a good chance of seeing elephants as they come to the water's edge to drink. Overnight in Thekkady.

Day 16 : Periyar
This morning you will be able to take a tour of a spice plantation and see the cultivation of a wide variety of the exotic plants which early European traders coveted so highly from this region. Later, drive to Kumarakom and upon arrival board your houseboat and begin your journey through the picturesque backwaters and small lakes relaxing in the tranquility of Kerala's beautiful scenery. Your crew will prepare delicious Keralan style food on board the boat, overnight on board the houseboat.

Day 17 : Houseboat - Alleppey - Cochin
After breakfast aboard the houseboat, sail to Alleppey. Here you will be met at the wharf for the drive to Cochin. The rest of the day is at leisure, and overnight in Cochin.

Day 18 : Cochin - Bombay
In the morning transfer from hotel to the airport for your flight to Mumbai. where you will be met on arrival., and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure for own activities and to enjoy the facilities of the hotel. You can choose to fly out tonight or extend for one or more days to enjoy the sights around Mumbai. These include the splendid Elephanta Caves while the city itself is among India's most captivating.
