DAY 01 : Delhi
Arrive in Delhi. Our representative will assist you at the airport and to your hotel for check in and overnight stay.

DAY 02 : Delhi
Take a guided tour of Delhi, beginning with a morning sightseeing trip to Old Delhi and followed by visits to the Red Fort, India's largest mosque - Jama Masjid and Gandhi Memorial at Raj Ghat. Afternoon tour includes visits to India Gate, President's House, Humayan's Tomb, Lotus Temple and Qutab Minar. Overnight in Delhi.

DAY 03 : Delhi / Jaipur (260 Km, 5 Hours)
Depart Delhi for the drive into Rajasthan, the Land of Princes and the edge of India's Great Thar Desert. Relax in Jaipur with the option to explore the city's markets and bazaars. Overnight in Jaipur.

DAY 04 : Jaipur
Early morning 11 km drive to Amber, the capital of the gallant Rajputs from 1037 to 1728 AD. Ascend the Fort on Elephant back and visit the Palace. Later visit the City Palace, Birla Temple, Jantar Mantar Observatory and the Palace of Winds. Overnight in Jaipur.

DAY 05 : Jaipur / Sawai Madhopur (160 km / 3 ½ hrs) ONE EVENING SAFARI
Early morning drive to Sawai Madhopur, former hunting preserve of the Maharajas. The Ranthambore National Park covers over 1300 sq. Kms and is a scenic marvel. After your late afternoon safari, you will have time to enjoy a relaxing evening stroll through the abundant natural splendour of the park. Overnight in Sawai Madhopur.

DAY 06 : Sawai Madhopur (Ranthambore National Park) TWO JUNGLE SAFARI
Early morning Jungle safari in Ranthambore National Park. This is one of the best examples of the Tiger Conservation Project's success in India. According to the latest census, the park has a total of 28 tigers, providing a reasonable opportunity of a sighting. There is also a considerable bird population here. Evening can also be spent at leisure amidst the cool and green jungle environment. Overnight in Sawai Madhopur

DAY 07 : Sawai Madhopur / Bharatpur (250km, 5 hours)
Morning drive Bharatpur, a famous royal hunting retreat in close proximity to Keoladeo Ghana National Park. This park has the largest concentration and variety of bird life in all of Asia and is worth both an afternoon/evening visit and a return in the morning to see the park come to life with the arrival of the new day. Depending on the season the park is home to migratory birds from all over the Eastern Hemisphere. Overnight in Bharatpur.

DAY 08 : Bharatpur / Agra (55km, 90 minutes)
After an early morning excursion to the Keoladeo Ghana National Park, and breakfast at the hotel, drive to Fatehpur Sikri, one of the capital cities of Akbar the Great, and a masterpiece of construct and design. The colours of this sandstone edifice are quite stunning. From here continue on to Agra, the capital of India under the great Mughals and home to the Taj Mahal. Most of Agra is on the West bank of river Yamuna, with the Agra Fort and the Taj at its nucleus. The Taj Mahal is quite simply one of mankind's most remarkable creations. Upon arrival take a visit to Agra Fort. Evening at leisure and overnight in Agra.

DAY 09 : Agra / Jhansi (by train) / Orchha / Khajuraho (160 km / 4 hrs)
Arise early for your visit to the Taj Mahal. The best time of day to view the Taj is at dawn and shortly after as the colours in the marble change as the sun rises. This is an unforgettable sight and lives in the memory of all who witness it for ever. After breakfast depart for railway station to board train to Jhansi. From here leave for Khajuraho via Orchha, where you will spend the night

DAY 10 : Khajuraho / Bandhavgarh (200 km / 4 ½ hrs)
Early morning sightseeing trip, covering temples built between 950 and 1050 AD by the mighty warrior kings of the Chandela dynasty, in a truly inspired burst of creativity. Only 22 temples survive of the 85 originally built, of which the Matangeshwara temple still used for worship today, continuing an unbroken 1000 year tradition. Later on drive to Bandhavgarh where you will spend tonight.

DAY 11 : Bandhavgarh including JUNGLE SAFARI
Early morning jeep safari in Bandhavgarh National Park. This park is much smaller than Kanha National Park, but claims to have the highest population density of tigers in India, reportedly between 46 to 52 tigers. There are also 27 leopards here. The park area is 448 sq. km. Evening free for nature walk followed by overnight stay.

DAY 12 : Bandhavgarh / Kanha (200 km / 5 hrs)
After breakfast depart for Kanha National Park, one of India's largest national parks, covering 1945 sq. km, including a core zone of 940 sq. km. Leisurely afternoon and evening to . Overnight stay.

DAY 13 : Kanha TWO JUNGLE SAFARIS
Early morning jeep safari at the Park. Effective wildlife management over the past 30 years has noted a steady increase in the numbers of tigers and leopards, not to mention Sambar, Chital (Spotted Deer), Swamp Deer and Gaur (Indian Bison). The 1997 census put the Tiger population at 114 and the Leopards at 86. There is a reasonably good chance of sighting tigers here and this is one of the best places in the state for bird watching. The evening is dedicated to bird watching. Overnight at Kanha.

DAY 14 : Kanha / 225 km / 5 hrs /Raipur / Delhi (by air)
Early morning drive to Raipur to board flight for Delhi. You will be met at Delhi airport and transferred to your hotel.

DAY 15 : Departure from Delhi
Tour concludes as we transfer you to the airport from onward travel. This tour can easily be linked to one of our South India tours if you have the time.
