06 : Sawai Madhopur (Ranthambore National Park) TWO JUNGLE SAFARI|
DAY 09 : Agra / Jhansi (by train) / Orchha / Khajuraho (160 km / 4 hrs) Arise early for your visit to the Taj Mahal. The best time of day to view the Taj is at dawn and shortly after as the colours in the marble change as the sun rises. This is an unforgettable sight and lives in the memory of all who witness it for ever. After breakfast depart for railway station to board train to Jhansi. From here leave for Khajuraho via Orchha, where you will spend the night DAY 10 : Khajuraho / Bandhavgarh (200 km / 4 ½ hrs) Early morning sightseeing trip, covering temples built between 950 and 1050 AD by the mighty warrior kings of the Chandela dynasty, in a truly inspired burst of creativity. Only 22 temples survive of the 85 originally built, of which the Matangeshwara temple still used for worship today, continuing an unbroken 1000 year tradition. Later on drive to Bandhavgarh where you will spend tonight. ![]() DAY 11 : Bandhavgarh including JUNGLE SAFARI Early morning jeep safari in Bandhavgarh National Park. This park is much smaller than Kanha National Park, but claims to have the highest population density of tigers in India, reportedly between 46 to 52 tigers. There are also 27 leopards here. The park area is 448 sq. km. Evening free for nature walk followed by overnight stay. DAY 12 : Bandhavgarh / Kanha (200 km / 5 hrs) After breakfast depart for Kanha National Park, one of India's largest national parks, covering 1945 sq. km, including a core zone of 940 sq. km. Leisurely afternoon and evening to . Overnight stay. DAY 13 : Kanha TWO JUNGLE SAFARIS Early morning jeep safari at the Park. Effective wildlife management over the past 30 years has noted a steady increase in the numbers of tigers and leopards, not to mention Sambar, Chital (Spotted Deer), Swamp Deer and Gaur (Indian Bison). The 1997 census put the Tiger population at 114 and the Leopards at 86. There is a reasonably good chance of sighting tigers here and this is one of the best places in the state for bird watching. The evening is dedicated to bird watching. Overnight at Kanha. DAY 14 : Kanha / 225 km / 5 hrs /Raipur / Delhi (by air) Early morning drive to Raipur to board flight for Delhi. You will be met at Delhi airport and transferred to your hotel. DAY 15 : Departure from Delhi Tour concludes as we transfer you to the airport from onward travel.
