Please Note - As the tribal markets on days 10 & 11 only run on
Wednesday and Thursday respectively, we recommend you commence this tour on
a Monday.
Day 01
Travel to Kolkata (Calcutta) from within India or by International Flight.
You will be met here by our representative and transferred to your hotel.
Overnight in Kolkata.
Day 02
After an early morning flight from Kolkata to Bhubaneswar, where you will
be met by our representative, you will be transferred to Puri. In the
afternoon enjoy a city tour including the Artisan Village. Overnight in
Puri.
Day 03
Full day Excursion to the wonderful Sun Temple Complex at Konark. Overnight
in Puri.
Day 04
Drive to Bhubaneswar. Enroute you will visit Dhauli, Asokan Rock edicts and
64 Yogini Temples of Heera Pur. In the afternoon take a tour of the city and
then overnight in Bhubaneswar.
Day 05
Today make a full day Excursion to the Buddhist Triangle of
Orissa; Lalitgiri, Ratnagiri and Udaygiri. Overnight in Bhubaneswar.
Day 06
Today take a full day Excursion to Nuapatana Textile Village and
Sadeibarini metalworking Village to see the work of the local craftspeople
at first hand. Overnight in Bhubaneswar.

07
Today make the Drive to Gopalpur-On-Sea enroute visiting Chilika Lake with
the option of taking a boat ride on the lake. Once you reach Gopalpur on the
Bay of Bengal you will be able to relax by the sea in this most tranquil of
locations. Overnight at Swosti Palm Resort.
Day 08
Drive to Rayagada enroute visiting Desia Kondh Tribal Villages and Sulphur
Spring of Taptapani. Overnight in Rayagada.
Day 09
Today you will take a full day excursion to visit the Kutia Kondh tribal
villages in the Tumudibandh area and witness something of the way of life of
these people. Overnight at Rayagada.
