Day 04 : Mandawa - Bikaner 190km, 5 hours|
Day 09 : Jodhpur Morning sightseeing tour of Jodhpur visiting the spectacular Mehrangarh Fort perched on a ridge high over the city. In the afternoon, you can take an excursion to Mandore, where the cenotaphs of Jodhpurs former rulers are set in wonderfully landscaped gardens. Overnight in Jodhpur. ![]() Day 10 : Jodhpur - Mt Abu. 240KM, 6 Hours Today drive to Mt Abu, originally a Jain pilgrimage centre and later Rajasthan's only hill station. There are many wonderful Jain temples in the area and you can visit these in the late afternoon. Overnight in Mt Abu. Day 11 : Mt Abu - Udaipur 190 Km 5 hours This morning you will drive to the most romantic city in Rajasthan, some would say in all of India- Udaipur. On the way visit the Jain temples at Ranakpur. Spend the afternoon at leisure or explore the bustling and fascinating markets and bazaars. Overnight in Udaipur. Day 12 : Udaipur Full day in Udaipur with city sightseeing, and an afternoon boat trip on Pichola Lake. Overnight in Udaipur. Day 13 : Udaipur - Pushkar 180 KM 5 Hours Drive to the scared lakeside town of Pushkar, one of the holiest sites in Hinduism. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon by the lake and overnight in Pushkar. Day 14 : Pushkar - Jaipur 140 Km 3 Hours Morning to relax and explore Pushkar and in the afternoon, drive to Jaipur. You have the option for an evening visit to Chokhi Dhani for Dinner, an ethnic village resort located at a distance 15 km from Jaipur. Evenings at Chokhi Dhani are very special. A Rajasthani village atmosphere is recreated on the sprawling ground and includes the entertainment by folk dancers and musicians. You can move around freely and enjoy the evening. Overnight in Jaipur. Day 15 : Jaipur ![]() In the morning take a visit to Amber Fort, riding an elephant up the ramparts, and in the afternoon see the City Palace, the Palace of the Winds and Jantar Mantar Observatory. Evening free to explore the bazaars and markets in the famous walled Pink City. Overnight in Jaipur. Day 16 : Jaipur - Bharatpur 140 km, 4 Hours Leaving in the morning, enroute you will visit Fatehpur Sikri. This is an architectural marvel in sandstone and one of the best preserved of all Mughal era structures. Continue on to Bharatpur. Nearby is the famous Keoladeo Ghana National Park, which has the largest concentration and variety of bird life in all of Asia. Take an evening Rickshaw ride to the Park for twilight bird-watching. Overnight in Bharatpur. Day 16 : Bharatpur - Deeg - Bharatpur For serious bird enthusiasts, a second visit to the National Park will be a must as dawn is an excellent time to view the many colonies coming to life to greet the new day. After breakfast take an excursion to Deeg, a little visited, town 35km away. Deeg is home to a spectacular Water Palace built in the 18th Century and which is wonderfully preserved. Overnight in Bharatpur. Day 17 : Bharatpur - Agra 55KM 1.5 hours Morning free followed by a short drive to Agra, and afternoon tour of Agra Fort. There are many artisans working in the town creating marble work in a similar style to that used in the famous Taj- you may explore these if you wish. Overnight in Agra. Day
18 : Agra - DelhiHave we saved the best till last? You will find out at dawn as you visit the Taj Mahal- the greatest monument to love ever constructed. As the morning sun rises, it creates a spectacular array of colours across the marble faces of the Taj - enjoy this glorious sight and stay for a while to absorb the brilliance of this sight, something you will perhaps never forget. After breakfast, drive to Delhi and Overnight there. Day 19 : Delhi Departure The day is free until we transfer you to your flight home, or to make a connection to another part of India.
