Day 01 : Arr Mumbai
On arrival Mumbai International Airport you will be met by our representative who will welcome you and assist you in the transfer to your Hotel. Check in and relax at the Hotel Overnight stay at your hotel within a reasonable distance of Mumbai airport.

Day 02 : Mumbai - Chennai (FLY)
Morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Chennai. (PLEASE NOTE THAT THE TOUR CAN BEGIN ON THIS DAY IN CHENNAI IF INTERNATIONAL CONNECTIONS MAKE THIS EASIER FOR YOU) On arrival at Chennai Airport you will be met by our tour executive who will welcome you and assist you to make the transfer to your hotel. Later sightseeing of Chennai; visits to Parthasarathy Temple, Kapaleeshwara Temple, St George Fort and Museum. Overnight at Chennai


Day 03 : Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram (150kms - 3hrs)
After breakfast drive to Kanchipuram; visit Kailasanatha Temple, Sri Ekambaranathar Temple and the silk weaving centre and later in the evening drive to Mahabalipuram. You may wish to explore the many wonderful restaurants in the town serving locally caught fresh fish. Overnight at Mahabalipuram.


Day 04 : Mahabalipuram
After breakfast, enjoy a morning's sightseeing around Mahabalipuram; visit the Shore Temple, Trimurti Cave Temple, Arjuna's Penance, Five Rathas and Sculpture Museum. Afternoon free at the beach with option to visit Dakshinachitra Cultural Centre. Overnight at Mahabalipuram

Day 05 : Mahabalipuram - Tanjore (320kms - 7hrs)
After breakfast drive to Tanjore and on the way visit Chidambaram Nataraj Temple and Gangakondacholapuram Temple. Upon arrival at Tanjore, check in at your hotel. Overnight in Tanjore.


Day 06 : Tanjore - Trichy (70kms - 1.5hrs)Meenakshi Temple, Madurai
After breakfast visit Palace, Art gallery, and Museum. Later in the day you will visit Brihadewswara Temple also known as the 'Big Temple', built by the Chola dynasty. This massive temple is 216 feet high and the single spherical stone on top weighs 80 tonnes. This is a UNESCO World Heritage listed monument. Later drive to Trichy and check in at your hotel. In the evening you can visit Srirangam Temple, one of the largest temple complexes in all of India. Overnight in Trichy.


Day 07 : Trichy - Madurai (130kms - 3hrs)
This morning enjoy the sights of Trichy including the Rock Fort Temple and then drive to Madurai. Check in at the hotel. In the afternoon you will visit the famous Shree Meenakshi Amman temple, Thirumalai Nayakiar Palace and Marie Amman Tank. Overnight at Madurai.


Day 08 : Madurai - Kanyakumari - Kovalam (350kms - 7hrs)
After breakfast drive to Kovalam. On the way we will pass through Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of India and the point where three bodies of water meet. These are the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the mighty Indian Ocean. At Kanyakumari we will visit Kumari Amman Temple, Gandhi Museum and Vivekananda Rock, then drive to Kovalam and check in at the hotel. Enjoy the restaurants of Kovalam or just relax this evening. Overnight at Kovalam.


Day 09 : Kovalam
Today is free for beach activities and Ayurvedic massages. Overnight at Kovalam.


Day 10 : Kovalam - Thottapally - Alleppey - Cochin
After breakfast drive to Thottapally. Board your motorboat by 12Noon and cruise through the back waters of Kerala. On the way you can see traditional Keralan village life which has remained unchanged for many years. You also witness the merchants selling vegetables in a boat while the village people wait at the bank of Vembanad Lake. Disembark the motorboat at Alleppey and drive to Cochin. Check in to your hotel and later on enjoy sightseeing of Chinese Fishing Nets, Mattancherry Palace, Fort Cochin, and Jewish Synagogue. Relax at the hotel and in the evening witness the famous Kathakali dance performance. This presentation is by professional artists in an air-conditioned auditorium. Overnight in Cochin.

Dolphin's Nose, Ooty
Day 11 : Cochin - Ooty (310kms - 6.5hrs)
After breakfast drive via Coimbatore to Coonoor and take the afternoon Nilgiri Mountain Railway to Ooty. Arrive around 6pm and check in at your hotel. Overnight in Ooty.


Day 12 : Ooty
After breakfast you will proceed to Coonoor to view from close quarters the Tea Plantations and Factory, Rose Garden, Sim's Park, Avalanche, Dolphin's Nose, Ketty Valley, Koddandu Point, and Lambs Park before returning to Ooty where you will spend the night.


Day 13 : Ooty - Mysore (160kms - 5hrs)
After breakfast drive to Mysore and check in at your hotel. Sightseeing of Mysore in the afternoon includes visits to the Maharaja's Palace and Devaraja Fruit and Vegetable Market. The shopping in Mysore is relaxed and varied so it is an excellent place to spend an evening wandering around with the locals. Overnight in Mysore.


Day 14 : Mysore - Somnathpur - Mysore (35kms - 1hrs one way)
After breakfast enjoy a day excursion to Srirangapatinam and Somnathpur Temples. Overnight in Mysore.


Day 15 : Mysore - Hassan (140kms - 4hrs)
After breakfast drive to Hassan visiting Sravanbelagola a well known Jain pilgrimage centre, on the way. Check in to your hotel and relax for the rest of the day. Overnight at Hassan

Chennakeshava Temple, Belur
Day 16 : Hassan - Belur - Halebid - Hassan (100kms - 2.5hrs)
After breakfast take a day excursion to the temples at Belur & Halebid and after exploring these places return to Hassan. Overnight at Hassan


Day 17 : Hassan - Bangalore (200kms - 4.5hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Bangalore. Check in at your hotel and later experience the sights of Bangalore; visit Bangalore Palace, Vidhana Soudha, Cubbon Park, and later free for shopping at M G Road. Overnight in Bangalore.


Day 18 : Bangalore - Mumbai (FLY)
NOTE : THE TOUR CAN END HERE IF YOU PREFER TO FLY OUT OF BANGALORE
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight to Mumbai arriving late morning. Our representative will meet you and assist you to transfer to your Hotel. Later take a one hour boat ride across Mumbai Harbor which will bring you to the lush green Elephanta Island. Here, visit some of the huge and intricately carved Elephanta Caves that date back to the 8th century. Four rows of massive columns cut into solid rock from three magnificent avenues, lead to the outstanding three-headed sculpture representing Brahma the Creator, Vishnu the Preserver and Shiva the Destroyer. Dedicated to Shiva, the beauty and power of these phenomenal sculptures depicting the various manifestations of Shiva is overwhelming. Overnight stay at Mumbai


Day 19 : Mumbai Dep
In the morning take a city tour of Mumbai- the great port city with its Victorian Gothic buildings from the British Raj Era mingling with the modern. The tour includes 'Gateway of India' overlooking the Harbour, the 'Towers of Silence', 'Marine Drive', the 'Colaba Causeway' - the commercial heart of Bombay and the Dhobi Ghat, the unique and colourful outdoor 'laundry'. Drive up to the Malabar Hill to the lovely 'Hanging Gardens' and the Kamla Nehru Park from where you will get a wonderful view of Mumbai and the Arabian Sea, spread out before you. Also visit Mani Bhawan, a small museum dedicated to the life and works of Mahatma Gandhi, and the bustling Crawford Market.Gateway of India


In the afternoon, depending upon your International flight schedule you will be transferred to Mumbai International Airport for your onward journey.
